Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Associate (BDA) to join our team in India on a full-time, fully remote basis. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base and onboarding new Indian marketplace sellers and brands onto our technology platform to expand their presence into the UK. The successful candidate will develop strategic relationships, guide sellers through successful onboarding, and coordinate with our UK-based team to facilitate international shipments. Key Responsibilities
- Seller Onboarding (Primary Focus): Identify, pitch, and onboard new Indian marketplace sellers and brands looking to expand into the UK market.
- Platform Integration: Guide sellers through integrating with GlobiSync’s technology platform and setting up their international shipments.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Proactive Partner Support: Maintain professional client relations, listen deeply to sellers' needs, and proactively offer solutions to maintain 100% partner satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Build comprehensive monthly business development plans and manage your day-to-day outreach routine.
- Client Meetings: Represent the company professionally during virtual and occasional in-person meetings with brand owners and manufacturers.
Requirements & Experience
- Industry Experience: Must be a former employee of an Indian e-commerce marketplace with a proven track record in seller onboarding (Ideally from Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart India), OR have direct experience working with a UK/international e-commerce brand or agency onboarding online sellers.
- Proven Track Record: Solid experience in business development, outbound prospecting, and closing deals within an e-commerce environment.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in Hindi and English is essential. You must be able to speak the native language of Indian vendors and sellers while seamlessly collaborating with our UK office.
- Work Ethic: A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Technical & Presentation Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel to prepare, analyze, and present seller data.
- Work Setup: As this is an overseas remote position, candidates must possess their own reliable laptop/desktop computer and a stable internet connection for regular video calls and team meetings.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary Range: ₹30,000 to ₹80,000 per month (dependent on experience) OR highly competitive freelance rates.
