Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in Cisco CCNA (200-301), prepare students for industry requirements and certification examinations, and ensure effective learning through hands-on networking labs and practical activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct CCNA 200-301 classroom and practical training sessions.
- Explain networking concepts clearly using real-world examples and practical demonstrations.
- Cover major CCNA topics including:
- Network Fundamentals
- Network Access
- IP Connectivity
- IP Services
- Security Fundamentals
- Automation & Programmability
- Provide hands-on training using Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, EVE-NG or physical Cisco equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot:
- Routers
- Switches
- VLANs
- Trunking
- STP
- EtherChannel
- Routing
- DHCP
- NAT
- ACL
- Wireless networking
- Conduct practical lab sessions and assign networking projects/exercises.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, lab manuals, assignments and assessments.
- Conduct regular tests, mock examinations and performance evaluations.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Assist students with CCNA certification examination preparation.
- Keep course content updated according to the latest CCNA syllabus and industry practices.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records and assessment reports.
- Coordinate with the Academic Head regarding course progress and student performance.
- Support academic projects, seminars, workshops and technical events.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement of training quality.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Course Completion: Complete the prescribed CCNA syllabus within the scheduled duration.
- Student Performance: Maintain strong student performance in internal assessments and mock examinations.
- Practical Training: Ensure students receive adequate hands-on lab exposure.
- Student Satisfaction: Maintain positive student feedback regarding teaching quality.
- Attendance & Punctuality: Maintain consistent class attendance and adhere to assigned working hours.
- Assessment: Conduct tests, assignments and practical evaluations as scheduled.
- Certification Preparation: Effectively prepare eligible students for the CCNA certification examination.
- Student Support: Provide timely academic assistance to students requiring additional guidance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate attendance, lesson plans, assessment records and course-progress reports.
- Academic Contribution: Participate in seminars, workshops, projects and other departmental activities.
- Technical Upgradation: Continuously update knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and industry practices.
- Retention & Completion: Support students in successfully completing their assigned training program.

Qualification & Experience
Preferred Qualification:
B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. / MCA / BCA / equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Networking or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of networking training or industry experience preferred.
- Candidates with CCNA certification and strong practical knowledge will be preferred.
- Teaching/training experience in a professional IT training institute is an advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
