Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Medical Officer to provide primary healthcare services, patient consultation, diagnosis, and treatment at healthcare facilities/urban health centers. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality medical care, maintaining patient records, and supporting public health programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct OPD consultations and examine patients
- Diagnose illnesses and prescribe appropriate treatment/medications
- Handle general medical emergencies and first aid cases
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and reports
- Monitor and manage chronic and infectious diseases
- Coordinate with nursing staff, MPWs, and healthcare teams
- Implement preventive healthcare and vaccination programs
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and government health guidelines
- Provide health awareness and counselling to patients/community
- Prepare daily/monthly medical reports and documentation
- Support health camps and community outreach activities when required
Required Qualification
- MBBS degree from a recognized university
- Valid MMC/NMC registration certificate mandatory
Experience Required
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply
- Experience in municipal hospitals, clinics, PHC/UPHC, or healthcare centers preferred
Required Skills
- Good clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and patient-handling ability
- Knowledge of public healthcare practices
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to work in shifts/emergency situations

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
