Organic chemistry work on bench:
1. planning and execution of chemical Reactions as per project requirement.
2. Must have knowledge on interpretation of HNMR, Mass fragmentation, FT-IR data etc.
3. expertise in Purification techniques like flash chromatography, Reversed Phase chromatography using automated instruments like Biotage, Combiflash, Grace and Thin Layer Chromatography, column chromatography to seperate and isolation of pure products with >98% purity by HPLC.
4. Understanding about reaction mechanisms and troubleshooting. must have knowledge on various modifications of a reaction for better yield and easy process.
5. Charecterisation of isolated compounds using analytical data.
6. conclusion of the day to day work. Lab note book and weekly update writing.
