Job Title: ETL Tester
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented ETL Tester to validate data integration processes and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across multiple systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ETL testing, SQL, database validation, and data warehousing concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases and test scenarios.
Validate data movement between source and target systems.
Perform data quality, integrity, and reconciliation testing.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation.
Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and data engineers.
Validate ETL workflows, transformations, and business rules.
Perform regression, functional, and end-to-end testing.
Prepare test plans, test reports, and execution summaries.
Required Skills
Strong experience in ETL Testing
Excellent knowledge of SQL
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Good programming knowledge in Python and Java
Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Facts, Dimensions, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure/AWS)
Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or ADF
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
