Position title: Business Development Executive – IT / Software Solutions (B2B)
Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for end-to-end sales ownership from lead generation to deal closure for our software and IT solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy consultative selling, client interaction, and working closely with technical teams to deliver value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for software and IT solutions
- Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Engage with potential clients across industries and understand their business needs
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and solution discussions
- Propose customized software/IT solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure
- Coordinate with internal technical and delivery teams for solution alignment
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, CRM updates, forecasts, and reports
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in IT / software / solution sales or business development
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (IT / Engineering / Geoinformatics preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel for client meetings when required
Nice to Have
- MBA in Sales & Marketing
- Experience in B2B or enterprise software sales
- Exposure to technology-driven or solution-based selling
- Proficiency in spoken Hindi
