About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Purchase Executive to help expand our sourcing network for smartphones, cameras, and consumer electronics. The role involves identifying suppliers across India, negotiating prices, building vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement of products.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, negotiating deals, and finding new business opportunities through research and networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new suppliers for smartphones, iPhones, Samsung devices, cameras, and related electronics.
- Make outbound calls to distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and traders across India.
- Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate purchase terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and channel partners.
- Track market prices, product availability, and supply trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding procurement requirements.
- Maintain supplier database and purchase records.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries, and payment-related matters.
- Explore new sourcing channels through online research, trade platforms, and industry contacts.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, sales, or vendor management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls daily.
- Basic MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Self-motivated, organized, and result-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the mobile phone, electronics, telecom, or distribution industry..
