The Dietitian is responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, developing personalized diet plans, and promoting healthy eating habits to support treatment and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ nutritional status and dietary requirements
- Develop and implement individualized diet plans
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and modify plans as needed
- Provide nutrition counseling to patients and their families
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Plan therapeutic diets for various medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, renal diseases, etc.)
- Ensure proper documentation of diet plans and patient progress
- Conduct diet awareness programs and health education sessions
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in food preparation areas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition / Dietetics / Food Science
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- Registered Dietitian certification (preferred)
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in hospital or clinical setting
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets
- Good communication and counseling skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and patient care focus
Working Conditions:
- Hospital / Healthcare setting
- May require shift duties depending on organizational needs
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
