Job Title: IVF Lab Technician

Job Summary
The IVF Lab Technician is responsible for assisting the embryology and andrology laboratory in handling samples, maintaining laboratory procedures, ensuring quality control, and supporting fertility treatment processes. The candidate must follow strict laboratory protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform semen analysis as per standard laboratory guidelines
Handle sample collection, labeling, processing, and storage
Assist in sperm preparation techniques for IVF/IUI procedures
Maintain IVF laboratory equipment, consumables, and cleanliness
Monitor laboratory temperature, humidity, and sterile conditions
Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation
Assist embryologists and doctors during IVF procedures when required
Ensure proper biomedical waste disposal and lab safety compliance
Perform quality control checks and basic equipment troubleshooting
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and treatment records
Qualification
DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc MLT
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply
IVF or hospital laboratory experience preferred
Skills Required
Knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample handling
Basic understanding of IVF and andrology lab processes
Attention to detail and documentation skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Basic computer knowledge and report entry skills
Ability to work in a sterile and fast-paced environment
