Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for our staffing services. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in acquiring direct clients, Tier-1 vendors, MSP/VMS accounts, and building long-term client relationships. The BDM will work closely with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements while achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients for IT and Non-IT staffing services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, hiring managers, procurement teams, and vendor managers.
- Acquire and manage Direct Clients, MSP/VMS accounts, and Tier-1 vendor relationships.
- Understand client hiring requirements and coordinate with recruitment teams for timely delivery.
- Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), commercial terms, payment terms, and pricing.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to client onboarding and account management.
- Expand existing accounts by identifying additional staffing opportunities.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term account retention.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure quality submissions and successful placements.
- Stay updated on staffing market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Maintain accurate sales activities and opportunity tracking in CRM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10+ years of Business Development experience within the Staffing or Recruitment industry.
- Proven experience in acquiring new staffing clients and generating recurring business.
- Strong understanding of Contract Staffing, Permanent Staffing, RPO, and Project-Based Hiring.
- Experience working with Direct Clients, MSPs, VMS platforms, and Tier-1 vendors.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a target-oriented environment.
