Area Sales Manager – Agarbatti (Incense Sticks)

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to expand our agarbatti business by appointing distributors, increasing market reach, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in FMCG sales, distributor management, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Appoint new distributors and dealers within the assigned territory.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing distributors and retailers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Increase product visibility and market penetration.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors.
- Plan and execute promotional activities to boost sales.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate with the management team for stock planning and sales strategies.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in FMCG sales (experience in Agarbatti)
- Strong distributor network and market knowledge.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in agarbatti, incense sticks, dhoop, pooja products, or other FMCG products.
- Existing distributor and retailer contacts will be an added advantage.
Salary
- ₹15,000 - 30,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Attractive Incentives based on performance
- Travel Allowance (TA) & Daily Allowance (DA)
