Job Summary
The BIM Designer is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) for commercial interior fit-out projects. The role supports the Project Design team by creating accurate 3D models, coordinated drawings, clash-free design documentation, and project-specific BIM deliverables. The BIM Designer works closely with Designers, Architects, Drafting Teams, MEP Consultants, and Project Execution Teams to ensure efficient project coordination, technical accuracy, and seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Modeling & Documentation
- Develop and maintain BIM models for commercial interior fit-out projects using company BIM standards and project requirements.
- Create detailed 3D models for architectural interiors, partitions, ceilings, flooring, furniture, joinery, and custom-built elements.
- Generate plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction documentation directly from BIM models.
- Prepare coordinated shop drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and as-built documentation.
Design Coordination
- Coordinate BIM models with Architectural, MEP, Structural, and Project Execution requirements.
- Perform clash detection and identify coordination issues before project execution.
- Collaborate with Designers, Architects, and Drafting Teams to ensure model accuracy and design compliance.
- Incorporate design revisions, consultant comments, and site changes into BIM models and documentation.
Project Support
- Participate in project coordination meetings and technical review sessions.
- Support Project Managers and Site Teams with model-based coordination and technical clarifications.
- Assist in resolving design and execution-related coordination issues through BIM workflows.
- Conduct model reviews and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
BIM Standards & Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, modeling protocols, and project-specific requirements.
- Maintain model integrity, data accuracy, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop BIM libraries, templates, and standardized workflows where required.
- Support continuous improvement of BIM processes and digital project delivery practices.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders regarding BIM deliverables.
- Prepare BIM progress reports, coordination reports, and clash detection reports.
- Support preparation of project close-out documentation and final BIM deliverables.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- BIM/Revit Certification preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in BIM Modeling and Coordination within Commercial Interior Fit-Out, Architecture, or Construction projects.
- Experience working on corporate office, workplace, retail, hospitality, or commercial interior projects.
- Strong experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination and project documentation.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and model management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
- Understanding of commercial interior fit-out detailing and construction methodologies.
- Knowledge of Architectural and MEP coordination processes.
- Ability to generate schedules, quantities, and reports from BIM models.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Travel Requirements

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
