Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Consultant R2R (Fixed-Term Contract) to join our Finance Shared Services team. This is a contractual role with a fixed tenure.
In this position, you will be a core part of the Record-to-Report (R2R) function, managing the end-to-end general accounting and financial reporting activities for a key subsidiary of a prominent UK-listed entity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain high-value experience in a robust global governance framework.

Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Month-End Close

Maintain the general ledger for the assigned UK subsidiary with high accuracy.

Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities within strict corporate timelines.

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and provisions.

Manage fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.

Support statutory and internal audit queries for the entity assigned.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

Investigate, track, and resolve any variance or open reconciling items promptly.

Handle intercompany accounting, including data matching, reconciliation, and settlement tracking.
Reporting & Compliance

Assist in preparing monthly financial packs and variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget).

Support the preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP / IFRS.

Provide documentation and schedules required by internal and external UK auditors.
Experience:
- Education: CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate qualified (Mandatory).

Experience: 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate accounting or finance shared services from reputed companies or CA Firms.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to UK shift timings during peak periods and adhere to the hybrid schedule.

Contract Commitment: Ability to commit to the full duration of the contract until May 2027.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of double-entry accounting, IFRS/UK GAAP, and R2R frameworks.

Software: Hands on experience in ERP systems like SAP/ Sage X3/ Agresso + Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query) + basics of Power BI.

Soft Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with UK-based stakeholders.
