Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operations Executive to manage and coordinate daily courier and logistics operations at our Kondalampatti, Salem location. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the courier industry, strong operational knowledge, and the ability to ensure smooth branch functioning while maintaining high service standards.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee day-to-day courier operations, including booking, dispatch, transit, and delivery activities.
- Ensure timely movement of consignments and adherence to operational schedules.
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve delivery-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with hubs, branches, and delivery staff for smooth operational flow.
Branch Administration
- Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Ensure proper handling and security of consignments and company assets.
- Monitor branch inventory, stationery, and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Customer Service
- Address customer queries, complaints, and service requests professionally.
- Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, delays, and delivery updates.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate and support delivery executives, booking staff, and operational personnel.
- Monitor employee attendance and daily operational performance.
- Provide guidance and training to team members whenever required.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track branch performance, shipment volumes, pending deliveries, and operational efficiency.
- Report operational issues and improvement opportunities to management.
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and courier industry regulations.
- Monitor operational accuracy and minimize shipment discrepancies.
- Conduct regular checks to maintain service quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of courier and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Courier Software/ERP).
- Problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the courier and logistics industry.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Malayalam language proficiency is mandatory.
- Ability to handle branch operations independently.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience and performance)
