Job Summary:
SPD Constructions Ltd. is looking for an experienced Sr. Supervisor – Civil to supervise and coordinate structural and finishing activities at high-rise residential and commercial building projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in shuttering, reinforcement, steel, structural works, and finishing activities, along with proven experience in managing site manpower and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and as per approved drawings and quality standards.
Candidates with experience in Aluminium/MIVAN shuttering and high-rise building construction will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise civil construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, structural requirements, and project schedules.
- Supervise structural and finishing works, ensuring proper sequence and timely execution.
- Lead, guide, and coordinate workers, technicians, and subcontractor teams at the site.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to daily work requirements and project targets.
- Supervise shuttering/formwork, reinforcement, steel, concrete, and finishing activities.
- Ensure proper execution of columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, staircases, and other structural elements as per drawings.
- Monitor reinforcement cutting, bending, placing, spacing, lapping, binding, and cover as per approved structural drawings and BBS.
- Supervise conventional and Aluminium/MIVAN shuttering activities, including installation, alignment, level, plumb, dismantling, and shifting.
- Ensure proper coordination between shuttering, reinforcement, MEP, and concreting activities.
- Supervise finishing works such as plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, doors/windows, and other architectural works as required.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC, MEP, Planning, Safety, Stores, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
- Identify site-level issues, report deviations, and coordinate timely corrective actions.
- Optimize the use of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to improve productivity and minimize wastage.
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials.
- Ensure completed work is properly protected from damage during subsequent activities.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the Site In-Charge/Project Engineer.
- Track daily work progress against assigned targets and report delays, constraints, or resource requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure compliance with site safety procedures and HSE requirements.
- Support the project team during inspections and ensure timely closure of observations and snags.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–15 years of relevant experience in building construction, depending on level of responsibility.

- Shuttering/Formwork
- Reinforcement
- Structural steel works
- Concrete works
- Finishing works
- Experience in Aluminium/MIVAN shuttering will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in high-rise residential apartments and commercial buildings is preferred.
- Strong manpower handling and team supervision skills.
- Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
- Good understanding of construction sequence, quality requirements, and site safety practices.
- Ability to achieve daily and weekly construction targets under project deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Civil Engineering / relevant technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience in building construction.
- Candidates with extensive hands-on site experience and strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
