About Us
We run three businesses in the Chandigarh/Baddi region: an LPG distribution agency, a 24-hour HPCL fuel station, and a Takeaway delivery Restaurant. Around 45–50 staff work across the three — drivers, sales staff, kitchen team, and office staff. We run on written SOPs and Notion, and we need one person to own everything people-related.
What You Will Own
1. Attendance & Leave (daily)
- Maintain attendance and leave records for all staff across the three businesses
- Hand over the verified attendance sheet to our accountant by the 1st of every month for salary processing
- Flag repeated absences or unusual patterns to the owner
2. Induction (whenever someone joins)
- Run the joining process: documents, ID proofs, bank details, appointment letter
- Conduct day-one induction using our ready checklists and SOPs
- Ensure every new person has their role workbook and knows exactly what they do from day one
3. Training Records (monthly)
- Keep a training register: who was trained on what, when, and by whom
- Schedule refresher training whenever an SOP is updated
- Maintain mandatory records: food handler medical certificates (kitchen staff), safety training records (LPG drivers)
4. Intern & Hiring Coordination (as needed)
- Coordinate with college placement cells: schedule interviews, follow up, onboard interns
- Post job openings, do first screening calls, arrange interviews with the owner
- Handle exits: notice period, handover checklist, final settlement coordination with accounts
What You Will NOT Do
No operational decisions. Deliveries, fuel, and kitchen matters are handled by operations staff. You manage people records — not business operations.
Who We Are Looking For
- 2–4 years of HR experience, ideally with field or blue-collar staff (drivers, retail, kitchen)
- Comfortable with Google Sheets; willing to learn Notion (we will train you)
- Fluent Hindi/Punjabi, working English for documentation
- Own two-wheeler preferred (weekly site visit)
- Organized, follows checklists, does not need reminders
Why This Role Is Good
Everything is already documented — SOPs, checklists, and templates exist. You are not building from scratch; you are running a system. You get direct access to the owner, with no layers in between.
