Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, visitors, and attendants in a courteous and professional manner.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments with consultants and diagnostic departments.
- Guide patients regarding hospital services, departments, consultation timings, and procedures.
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharge formalities.
- Generate OP/IP registration and assist with billing and payment processes.
- Verify patient identity, insurance, TPA, and corporate details before registration.
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment modes as per hospital policy (if assigned).
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate with clinical departments, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and billing for seamless patient care.
- Address patient concerns and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
- Prepare daily reports related to registrations, appointments, collections, and patient footfall.
- Ensure the reception and waiting areas remain clean, organized, and patient-friendly.
- Adhere to NABH standards, patient safety protocols, and customer service guidelines
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Basic understanding of OP, IP, emergency registration, and billing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good typing and data entry skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
