Job Roles & Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced, aggressive, highly motivated, and growth-oriented Sales Executive to join our expanding team.
The ideal candidate should have strong field sales experience, excellent market understanding, and the ability to build long-term relationships with retailers, distributors, and dealers. The role requires frequent market visits and travelling across assigned territories.
The candidate should be comfortable staying on tour for up to 20 days in a month.
- Key Responsibilities – Field Sales Executive
- Conduct field sales visits to retailers, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, and institutional buyers to promote company products.
- Carry and present product sample books, swatches, catalogues, and display materials during market visits.
- Explain product features, fabric quality, GSM, thread count, designs, pricing, offers, and promotional schemes to customers.
- Generate orders from retailers, distributors, and dealers and ensure proper documentation of purchase orders.
- Develop new retailers, distributors, dealers, and channel partners in assigned territories.
- Expand market coverage by identifying untapped areas and increasing product availability.
- Maintain strong and long-term relationships with existing customers through regular follow-ups and service.
- Conduct regular market surveys to identify customer requirements, buying trends, and competitor activities.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions, schemes, and market strategies and share actionable feedback with management.
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and display at retail outlets wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and smooth order execution.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding product quality, delivery, shortages, or service in coordination with the concerned departments.
- Provide daily tour reports, visit reports, sales reports, order summaries, expense statements, and market intelligence to management.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned by the company.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and collections while maintaining healthy customer relationships.
- Travel extensively within assigned territories as per the approved tour plan.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, leads, quotations, orders, collections, and follow-ups using the company's reporting system.
- Promote newly launched products and ensure retailers understand their features and benefits.
- Identify fast-moving and slow-moving products and provide recommendations for inventory planning.
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on new collections and seasonal launches.
- Participate in exhibitions, dealer meets, trade fairs, product launches, and promotional events organized by the company.
- Ensure company branding standards are maintained at customer locations wherever applicable.
- Negotiate commercial terms within company-approved pricing and discount policies.
- Gather customer feedback regarding product quality, packaging, pricing, and service to support continuous improvement.
- Assist in achieving territory-wise sales growth and profitability objectives.
- Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, project consultants, and institutional buyers wherever relevant.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team for sample requirements and new product introductions.
- Ensure all company assets such as sample books, catalogues, and marketing materials are maintained properly.
- Plan weekly and monthly market tours to maximize productive customer visits.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, ethical business practices, and compliance with company policies at all times.
- Submit accurate travel plans, expense claims, and required documentation within prescribed timelines.
- Perform any other sales, marketing, or business development responsibilities assigned by the company to support business growth and revenue generation.
Requirements
- Comfortable with field sales and regular market travel.
- Ability to carry sample books/products during market visits.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably in home textiles or furnishing.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into sales
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
