Purpose of the Role
1. Tool Engineering - The purpose is to plan & Purchasing of new tools for manufacturing the components designed by R&D, Cycle time reduction in existing components by implementation of new technological tools Also reuse of existing worn tools by regrinding process
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
2. Receiving requirement of the tool/Consumables for Mfg dept/NPD Components/Regular.
3. Study requirements & purchasing of Form cutter Requirements
4. Defining & getting tools no in oracle system.
5. Inspection of worn out tools /Inserts & Disposal of scrap tools.
6. Providing tools parameters for effective utliziation of Tools
7. Purchase & maintaining inventory of standard tools by creating PR.
8. Issue tools for the requirement with proper stock Maintenance
9. Creation of move order & transactions for tools in Oracle system
10.Reuse of worn out tools by re grinding at OSP & Inhouse by creating the work order for regrinding at OSP.
11.Trouble shooting in issues due to tools like surface finish etc.
