ETP / RO / ZLD Operator – Job Responsibilities (Short Points)
- Operate and monitor ETP, RO, and ZLD systems.
- Check plant parameters (pH, TDS, COD, BOD, Flow, Pressure).
- Monitor pumps, blowers, valves, filters, and dosing systems.
- Prepare and dose treatment chemicals as per SOP.
- Record daily log sheets, shift reports, and plant readings.
- Collect water samples and perform basic water quality tests.
- Ensure treated water meets statutory/PCB standards.
- Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report equipment faults and process abnormalities.
- Perform RO membrane flushing/CIP as required.
- Handle sludge dewatering and disposal as per guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant.
- Follow PPE, safety procedures, and chemical handling practices.
- Minimize water loss and optimize plant performance.
- Support maintenance, audits, and regulatory inspections.
