About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our scrap procurement and vendor development operations. This is a high-impact, field-intensive role responsible for driving vendor acquisition, managing end-to-end procurement, and executing on-ground marketing initiatives that directly contribute to business growth. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, exceptional negotiation acumen, and the ability to independently operate in dynamic field environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify, approach, and onboard new vendors, suppliers around Coimbatore region.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors to ensure consistent supply.
· Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet company requirements for materials.
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms with vendors to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
· Conduct regular field visits to vendor locations, scrap yards, and industrial sites.
Monitor vendor performance, supply consistency, and compliance with company standards.
· Identify new sourcing opportunities and untapped markets for expansion.
· Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth operations.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with prior experience in field-driven, vendor-facing, or distribution-heavy roles are strongly encouraged to apply, including but not limited to:
· Experience in field-intensive roles involving vendor acquisition, distributor engagement, or channel development.
· Background in fast-paced operations requiring coordination with multiple external partners and on-ground execution.
· Familiarity with industrial consumables, supply-driven businesses, packaging ecosystems, or B2B service environments is an added advantage.
· Exposure to last-mile operations, enterprise sales, or territory-based business development will be highly valued.
· Proven ability to build networks, negotiate effectively, and manage relationships across diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 1–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, vendor development, or field marketing.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
