Senior Accounts Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our team in Assagao, Goa. The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience in GST billing, financial calculations, profit analysis, and advanced Excel. Candidates from the Hospitality industry will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain GST invoices, billing records, and statutory documentation.
- Ensure timely GST compliance, reconciliations, and filing support.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and profitability analysis.
- Track revenue, expenses, margins, and overall business profitability.
- Maintain and organize financial records using Google Drive and cloud-based systems.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and data analysis using Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Verify calculations, vendor payments, and account reconciliations with accuracy.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders when required.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- GST Billing & Compliance
- Financial Calculations & Reconciliations
- Profit & Loss Analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Formulas, MIS Reporting)
- Google Drive & Document Management
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry will be a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar platforms.
Location Requirement
Only candidates currently based in Goa or willing to relocate immediately to Assagao, Goa should apply.
Salary
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

- Assagao, Goa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
