Job Title: Snowflake Data Warehouse Trainer / Faculty

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Instructor to teach end-to-end cloud data warehousing, architecture, and data engineering solutions. You will lead engaging classes (in-person and online) covering core Snowflake architecture, SQL development, data loading/unloading, semi-structured data handling, Snowpark, and integration with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Degree in CS, IT, Data Analytics, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake administration/data engineering or teaching Snowflake/Cloud Data Warehousing.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake Architecture (Virtual Warehouses, Storage, Cloud Services), Multi-cluster Warehouses, and Data Sharing.
- Strong command of Advanced SQL, data modeling, database design, and query optimization/performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Data Ingestion techniques (COPY INTO, Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks).
- Proven ability to work with semi-structured data formats (JSON, Parquet, Avro) using Variant/Lateral Flatten.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and student mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills/Tools:
- Snowflake Pro Certification (SnowPro Core) is highly preferred.
- Experience with Snowpark (Python/Java/Scala) and Python integration (snowflake-connector-python).
- Practical knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Informatica, ADF, or Airflow) and Cloud platforms (AWS S3, Azure Blob, or GCP Storage).
- Familiarity with Data Security, RBAC, Data Masking, Time Travel, and Fail-safe concepts.
- Prior corporate training, classroom teaching, or curriculum development experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a practical, industry-aligned curriculum covering fundamental to advanced Snowflake concepts.
- Teach students how to architect, load, transform, and optimize data in Snowflake.
- Create real-world case studies, hands-on lab exercises, assignments, and mock project scenarios.
- Demonstrate query performance tuning, cost management/credit monitoring, and debugging techniques.
- Provide constructive feedback on student projects, conduct code reviews, and offer job-interview guidance.
- Continuously update training modules with modern Snowflake features and ecosystem tools.
Compensation:
Payment will be discussed based on experience, certification level, and expertise.
