Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost performance in our Home Appliances manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for process optimization, line balancing, manpower planning, capacity analysis, lean manufacturing implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Process Improvement
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities.
- Optimize production flow to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Line Balancing & Capacity Planning
- Perform assembly line balancing for home appliance products.
- Calculate takt time, cycle time, and manpower requirements.
- Monitor production capacity and identify bottlenecks.
- Support production planning with accurate capacity data.
Lean Manufacturing
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles including:
- 5S
- Kaizen
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- SMED
- Visual Management
- Poka-Yoke
- Drive continuous improvement projects across departments.
Cost Reduction
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in manufacturing operations.
- Reduce material waste, rework, and process inefficiencies.
- Support productivity improvement and labor cost optimization initiatives.
Productivity & KPI Monitoring
- Track and analyze production KPIs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity reports.
- Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Recommend corrective actions based on performance analysis.
Layout & Material Flow
- Design and optimize plant layouts.
- Improve material handling and warehouse operations.
- Reduce non-value-added activities and transportation losses.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, and Engineering teams.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities.
- Participate in PFMEA, process validation, and manufacturing readiness reviews.

- Experience in Home Appliances, Consumer Durables, Electrical Products, or Assembly Manufacturing preferred.
