The Injection Molding Engineer (Husky) will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of injection molding processes using Husky equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of injection molding principles, materials, and equipment, with a focus on achieving high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production. Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize injection molding processes for various plastic materials and products.
- Utilize Husky molding machines and software to set up, troubleshoot, and improve molding processes.
- Conduct mold flow analysis and simulations to predict and resolve potential molding issues.
- Develop and implement process parameters to ensure product quality, consistency, and repeatability.
- Perform root cause analysis for molding defects and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, tooling, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product launches.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest injection molding technologies, materials, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
