Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, components and finished products.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections as per drawings/specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspections.
- Identify defects, rejection and rework requirements.
- Maintain inspection and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production Managers to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure rejected/defective material is properly identified and segregated.
- Support final quality clearance before packing and dispatch.
- Maintain basic quality checklists and reports.
- Help implement quality procedures and inspection standards.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 1–4 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working on the factory floor.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
- Experience in hardware, sheet metal, casting, machining or similar manufacturing will be an advantage.
Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and good practical understanding may also apply.
