We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and internal controls.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Handle GST, TDS, PF and other applicable filings
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Maintain proper documentation for compliance and reporting
Budgeting & Analysis
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
Process Improvement & Controls
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Improve efficiency in financial processes and reporting systems
Team Support
- Supervise junior accounting staff
- Provide guidance and training to the finance team
- Collaborate with other departments for financial matters
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA / CMA / CPA (preferred but not mandatory)
- 10 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
