Position: Assistant Manager – Security

Position Summary
The Assistant Manager – Security will lead security operations for the Bengaluru facility and provide strategic oversight of physical security, asset protection, risk management, and security compliance. The role requires a proactive professional capable of managing security teams, vendor partners, investigations, and emergency response programs while ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Leadership
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Lead day-to-day security operations and oversee security personnel deployment.
- Ensure effective access control, surveillance, and facility protection measures.
- Manage security service providers and ensure contractual compliance.
Risk Management & Investigations
- Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
- Investigate security incidents, losses, thefts, and policy violations.
- Prepare detailed reports and corrective action plans.
- Monitor emerging security risks and implement preventive measures.
Surveillance & Technology
- Oversee CCTV systems, access control systems, alarm monitoring, and visitor management platforms.
- Recommend and implement technology upgrades to strengthen security controls.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of security equipment.
Emergency & Crisis Management
- Lead emergency preparedness and response initiatives.
- Coordinate fire drills, evacuation exercises, and crisis management activities.
- Liaise with local authorities, police, fire services, and emergency responders.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company security standards.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Maintain security documentation, records, and reporting systems.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Manage internal security teams and third-party security agencies.
- Conduct training and awareness programs for employees.
- Collaborate with HR, Administration, EHS, Operations, and Leadership teams on security matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; degree in Security Management, Administration, or related field preferred.
- 8–12 years of security management experience in corporate offices, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or technology environments.
- Experience managing large facilities and multi-vendor security operations preferred.
- Retired Armed Forces, Paramilitary, or Police personnel may be considered based on relevant experience.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 per month
