Responsibilities:
Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs for new products and modifications to existing products.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams to ensure designs meet technical and functional requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design revisions.
Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and identify potential improvements.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on design feasibility, manufacturing processes, and cost optimization.
Stay updated on industry trends, CAD software advancements, and best practices in design engineering.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Support the prototyping and testing of new designs, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements:
Diploma /Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative design solutions.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is a plus.
