Job Summary
The Sales & Procurement Executive is responsible for generating sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, sourcing products from suppliers, negotiating prices, ensuring timely
procurement, and coordinating deliveries. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and supply chain management skills to achieve sales targets while maintaining profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Generate leads through calls, emails, and customer visits.
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms.
- Follow up on quotations and convert them into purchase orders.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with customers regarding order status and deliveries.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly.
- Prepare sales forecasts and revenue reports.
Procurement Responsibilities
- Source products from OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and authorized suppliers.
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and compare pricing.
- Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, and lead times.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.
- Track order status until material delivery.
- Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
- Ensure procurement meets quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Coordinate with logistics for dispatch and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment.
- Develop alternate suppliers to reduce procurement risks.
Vendor Management
- Register and onboard new suppliers.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain vendor database.
- Review supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies.
Documentation
- Prepare RFQs and purchase orders.
- Maintain quotation records and procurement documents.
- Maintain sales and procurement MIS reports.
- Coordinate invoices, delivery challans, and payment follow-ups.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing/Supply Chain) is preferred.

- 0–2 years: Sales & Procurement Executive (Fresher/Junior)
- 2–5 years: Sales & Procurement Executive
