We are seeking an experienced Technical Publications Author with strong expertise in S1000D authoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating, reviewing, and delivering high-quality technical manuals in compliance with industry standards.
Author, review, and proofread technical manuals as per project requirements.
Apply S1000D standards and ensure compliance with BREX rules.
Work with DMRL and manage content through CSDB tools.
Create, update, and maintain IPD (Illustrated Parts Data).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Utilize XML authoring tools (e.g., Arbortext, FrameMaker, SDL) for content development.
Apply XPath/XSLT basics for customization and data management.
Strong knowledge of S1000D authoring and publishing process.
Proficiency in XML-based authoring tools.
Understanding of BREX rules and compliance checks.
Experience with DMRL and CSDB tools.
Exposure to IPD creation and management.
Familiarity with XPath/XSLT concepts.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
