About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to join our Logistics & Freight Forwarding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and promoting the company's freight forwarding and logistics services to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Promote Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, Warehousing, and other logistics services.
- Meet prospective clients to understand their logistics requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and rate negotiations.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Follow up on inquiries, leads, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Requirements Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Courier, Supply Chain, or related industries.
- Freshers with excellent communication and strong sales aptitude may also be considered for junior roles.
Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Good understanding of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Import & Export processes, and supply chain solutions.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
