About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QC/QA Engineer with 7+ years of experience in real estate and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control systems, ensuring construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of construction quality processes, inspection procedures, material testing, and documentation for residential, commercial, high-rise, or infrastructure projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Quality Control
- Develop, implement, and monitor project quality plans, inspection procedures, and quality control processes.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to identify and rectify quality deviations.
- Verify workmanship quality across civil, structural, architectural, finishing, and MEP works.
- Ensure compliance with IS Codes, NBC standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
Inspection & Testing
- Coordinate and witness material testing for concrete, steel, blocks, aggregates, waterproofing materials, and finishing materials.
- Review and approve material inspection reports, test certificates, and quality records.
- Monitor cube testing, field density tests, waterproofing tests, and other quality-related inspections.
- Ensure only approved materials are used at site.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
- Prepare Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
- Maintain quality registers, test reports, checklists, and audit records.
- Ensure proper documentation for project handover and statutory compliance.
Site Monitoring & Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, and Vendors on quality-related matters.
- Monitor execution activities to ensure adherence to approved methodologies.
- Conduct pre-pour inspections, finishing inspections, snagging, and handover inspections.
- Provide quality training and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
Quality Improvement
- Analyze recurring quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance construction quality and reduce rework.
- Track quality KPIs and prepare periodic quality reports for management.
Desired Candidate ProfileEducational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Additional certifications in Quality Management, QA/QC, ISO Standards, or Construction Quality Systems will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC within the real estate or construction industry.
- Experience in residential townships, high-rise buildings, villas, plotted developments, or commercial projects preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and quality standards.
- Familiarity with IS Codes, ASTM Standards, and quality testing procedures.
- Experience in concrete technology, finishing quality, waterproofing, and structural inspections.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and quality documentation tools.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
