Evon International (Square Surfaces) is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping, Logistics & Purchase Coordinator to support our U.S. operations from India. The person will manage international shipments, customs clearance documentation, delivery scheduling, purchase documentation, and ERP updates while coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shipping & Logistics
* Coordinate international shipments from suppliers to the U.S.
* Book shipments with freight forwarders.
* Track containers from origin to final delivery.
* Monitor vessel schedules, delays, and ETA updates.
* Follow up on missing or delayed documents.
* Maintain shipment status in the ERP system.
2. Customs Clearance
* Coordinate with U.S. customs brokers.
* Review shipping documents before filing.
* Collect and verify:
◦ Commercial Invoice
◦ Packing List
◦ Bill of Lading
◦ ISF documents
* Ensure customs documents are complete before cargo arrival.
* Follow up until customs release.
3. Delivery Scheduling
* Schedule container deliveries with warehouses.
* Coordinate appointments with trucking companies.
* Schedule deliveries to customers and job sites.
* Communicate delivery dates to the sales team.
* Handle delivery rescheduling when needed.
* Update delivery status in ERP.
4. Proforma Invoice Management
* Prepare Proforma Invoices.
* Verify pricing and quantities.
* Maintain PI records in ERP.
5. Purchase Invoice Handling
* Match supplier invoices with Purchase Orders.
* Verify:
◦ Product
◦ Quantity
◦ Pricing
◦ Freight
◦ Container details
* Upload invoices into ERP.
* Report discrepancies to management.
6. Vendor Coordination
* Communicate with:
◦ Suppliers
◦ Freight Forwarders
◦ Shipping Lines
◦ Customs Brokers
◦ Trucking Companies
◦ Warehouses
* Follow up on pending documents and shipment status.
* Resolve logistics issues proactively.
Required Skills
* 2–5 years of experience in international shipping, logistics, import/export, or supply chain.
* Good understanding of U.S. import documentation.
* Experience with freight forwarding and customs documentation.
* Excellent English communication (written and spoken).
* Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with U.S. imports.
* Knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP).
* Understanding of ocean freight and container logistics.
* Experience coordinating with customs brokers and trucking companies.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
