Job Description – Manual QA Engineer (4 Years Experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with 4 years of experience in web application testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, API testing, database validation, Agile methodology, and defect management. Exposure to automation tools is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute exploratory and end-to-end testing to identify critical defects.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries.
- Report and track defects using Jira.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, PM's, clients and product owners in an Agile environment.
- Support release validation and ensure product quality.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, communication, and client-handling skills.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Manual Testing (Smoke, Sanity, Functional, Regression, Retesting).
- API Testing using Postman.
- Database Testing with SQL.
- Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Jira and GitHub.
- Good analytical, communication, and client-handling skills.
Good to Have
- Selenium with Java or Playwright.
- TestNG and Cucumber Framework.
- Basic automation testing knowledge.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
