Job Position : Academic Mentor

Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Mentor to join our team in Kannur, Taliparamba. The ideal candidate will be passionate about guiding students toward the right academic and career paths while driving enrollments through effective counseling and follow-ups.
This role involves student counseling, lead conversion, admissions support, and collaboration with internal teams to meet enrollment goals. The structure of this role is aligned with standard Academic Mentor responsibilities
JD - Student Mentor
Student Counseling:
- Provide personalized guidance to prospective students regarding academic programs, curriculum, fees , eligibility, and career outcomes.
- Understand student aspirations and recommend suitable courses.
Admissions Assistance:
- Support students throughout the admission process including applications, documentation, interviews, and onboarding.
- Ensure a smooth and professional admissions experience.
Lead Follow-Up & Conversion:
- Follow up on inquiries and leads via calls, emails, and meetings.
- Convert leads into enrollments through effective communication and relationship building.
Presentations & Counseling Sessions:
- Conduct online and in-person counseling sessions and presentations explaining course benefits and career prospects.
- Data & Record Management:
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and enrollment status in CRM systems.
Career Guidance:
- Offer insights on certifications, industry trends, and career opportunities to help students make informed decisions.
Data & Record Management:

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in EdTech sales, academic/Student counseling, or admissions.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven and confident in handling student queries.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with students and parents
Skills Required: Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English communication.
