We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Supervisor to join our quality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing product quality assurance activities across multiple suppliers and factories, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements, managing inspections, and coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and third-party inspection agencies to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily QA activities and inspection processes across supplier factories.
- Coordinate with suppliers, factories, buyers, and third-party inspection agencies regarding quality requirements and inspection schedules.
- Ensure products comply with buyer specifications, technical standards, and agreed AQL requirements.
- Co-ordinate with factory Quality Teams on PSI frequency and inspection planning to ensure shipment readiness.
- Perform In-line, mid-line and PSI inspections based on approved samples, technical packs, specifications, and buyer requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports, CAPA, audit findings, and other quality-related documentation.
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.
- Conduct factory audits and monitor implementation of quality improvement plans.
- Support container loading inspections and shipment release approvals.
- Follow up on production status to ensure timelines and delivery schedules are met.
- Continuously review product specifications and quality performance to align with buyer expectations and market standards.
- Train and guide QA inspectors and supplier quality teams on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Maintain regular communication with buyers and internal merchandising/sourcing teams regarding quality status and risks.
Qualifications
- B.Tech/BE or a comparable technical qualification is preferred.
- Candidates from mechanical, production, textile or industrial engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in quality assurance/quality control within a buying office, sourcing company, export house, or manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of AQL standards, inspection procedures, and factory audit processes.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail and product quality.
- Ability to follow established processes while proactively identifying and escalating quality concerns.
- Strong reporting, communication and coordination skills.
- Patient, thorough, and persistent approach toward inspections and quality follow-up activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation/reporting.
- Willingness to travel extensively to supplier factories and production locations (approximately 50–70% of the time).

- South Indian / South Indian - born and brought up in North India will be preferred.
