Job Responsibilities & Other Selection Criteria's - Key Job Responsibilities: -
Clinical Patient Care:
Conduct daily ward rounds, check patient vitals, and update treatment charts.
Provide immediate medical care and first-line treatment for emergencies/casualty.
Prescribe and supervise daily Ayurvedic treatments (e.g., Panchakarma procedures), medications and dietary regimens.
Monitor patient progress, review lab reports and adjust treatment under consultation.
Administration and Documentation:
Prepare detailed case histories, progress notes and discharge summaries.
Ensure compliance & Manage ward administration.
Coordination:
Coordinate between Consultants/Professors and nursing staff for patient care.
Act as the primary contact for nursing staff regarding patient emergency.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university. Must be MCIM registered.
Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setup for at least 1-2 years.
Skills: Proficiency in Ayurvedic diagnosis, managing emergency cases and basic computer skills for documentation.
Working Conditions:
Shift Work: rotating shifts (morning/day/night) to provide 24/7 care.
Remuneration: Monthly salary ranges from Rs. 25,000 K to Rs. 30,000 K Per Month based on knowledge, skills & experiences.
