Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, statutory compliance, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, inventory accounting, and internal controls. Experience in the garments, apparel, textile manufacturing, or export industry will be an added advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and compliance-related matters.
Costing & Inventory Management
- Monitor product costing, manufacturing costs, and profitability analysis.
- Review inventory valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Conduct inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate stock accounting.
- Identify and implement cost-control measures.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Internal Controls & Audit
- Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Monitor customer collections and vendor payments.
- Manage credit control and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of customer, vendor, and bank accounts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Accounting Standards, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience in garments, apparel, textile manufacturing, or export businesses preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Busy, or similar software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in garment manufacturing, apparel exports, or textile operations.
- Knowledge of export documentation, foreign exchange transactions, and export incentives.
- Experience with inventory accounting and production costing.
