ABAAM GENIPIX Academy is a creative learning academy focused on Generative AI, Design and AI-powered Content Creation. Our programs combine practical learning with hands-on creative production, covering areas such as design, Generative AI, AI image & video creation, advertising content and commercial production.
We are looking for a confident and motivated Admission Counsellor who can communicate with prospective students and parents, understand their career goals, explain our programs effectively, and guide suitable candidates through the complete admission process.
This is a student-facing and conversion-focused role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling enquiries, counselling students, conducting follow-ups and working toward admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle student enquiries received through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, website and marketing campaigns.
- Counsel prospective students and parents about ABAAM GENIPIX Academy programs.
- Understand each student's interests, career goals and learning requirements before recommending a suitable program.
- Clearly explain course structure, learning outcomes, duration, certification and academy offerings.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with interested leads and guide them toward enrollment.
- Convert qualified enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups and admission status.
- Schedule academy visits, counselling sessions and course demonstrations where required.
- Coordinate with faculty and management regarding student enquiries and batch information.
- Build professional relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Achieve monthly admission and follow-up targets.
- Provide management with regular updates on enquiries, conversions and lead status.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in counselling, admissions, education sales, student counselling or a similar role.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident speaking with students and parents.
- Good follow-up and convincing skills without using aggressive sales tactics.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain lead records.
- Professional attitude and presentable personality.
- Ability to understand creative/technology-oriented courses and explain them in simple language.
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi will be preferred.
- Experience working with an academy, institute, college, EdTech company or training centre will be an advantage.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who does more than simply make sales calls. The counsellor should understand the student's requirements, build trust and help them make an informed decision about their creative career.
Knowledge of AI or design is not mandatory, but the candidate should be interested in learning about emerging creative technologies.
