We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Email Marketing Specialist to develop, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with email automation, customer segmentation, A/B testing, lifecycle marketing, and performance analytics. Experience working with international e-commerce brands and email marketing platforms is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, promotional emails, and automated customer journeys.
- Create and optimize email automation workflows, including welcome series, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and customer retention campaigns.
- Segment customer databases based on behavior, demographics, purchase history, engagement, and lifecycle stages.
- Plan and implement lifecycle marketing strategies to improve customer acquisition, retention, repeat purchases, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, email copy, creative assets, CTAs, send times, and audience segments to maximize campaign performance.
- Monitor and analyze campaign metrics including open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, revenue attribution, unsubscribe rates, and deliverability.
- Collaborate with design, content, and e-commerce teams to create compelling email content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Ensure email campaigns are optimized for mobile devices and provide an excellent user experience across all devices.
- Maintain email list hygiene and database health while ensuring compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email marketing regulations.
- Develop and execute personalized and dynamic email content strategies.
- Monitor deliverability performance and implement best practices to improve inbox placement and sender reputation.
- Coordinate campaign calendars, promotional schedules, product launches, and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Stay updated with industry trends, email marketing innovations, automation tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist, CRM Marketing Specialist, or Lifecycle Marketing Specialist.
- Strong experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Omnisend, Drip, Brevo (Sendinblue), Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and marketing automation.
- Expertise in audience segmentation, personalization, behavioral targeting, and customer journey mapping.
- Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and campaign optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
- Knowledge of email deliverability, sender reputation management, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email template customization.
- Experience with CRM systems and customer data platforms (CDPs).
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create high-converting email content.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing email marketing for international e-commerce brands.
- Experience with SMS marketing platforms such as Attentive, Postscript, SMSBump, or Klaviyo SMS.
- Knowledge of customer retention strategies, loyalty programs, and subscription marketing.
- Experience with AI-powered marketing tools and customer personalization platforms.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
- Familiarity with UTM tracking, attribution models, and revenue reporting.
- Certification in Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, or related marketing platforms is a plus.
