Job Description:
Current opening is for the product which offers our customers to seamlessly migrate the Kubernetes/OpenShift applications from any cloud to any cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to deploy, configure, and support our platform in cloud-native environments.
- Lead and execute PoCs, solution demos, and technical validations tailored to customer needs.
- Analyse customer environments, identify gaps, and provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide field feedback and influence roadmap decisions based on real-world use cases.
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, deployment guides, and runbooks.
- Drive infrastructure automation and tooling to streamline deployments and operational tasks.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point for complex platform and customer issues.
Requirements:
7+ years overall experience.
- Minimum 5+ years in customer-facing technical support, system engineering, solutions engineering, cloud support, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud, virtualization, Linux/Windows systems, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Good troubleshooting and customer communication skills.
- Scripting exposure in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, DevOps pipelines, backup/DR, or storage products is a plus.
- Candidates with DevOps/SRE background are fine if they have handled customers or production support.
- Team lead experience is a plus.
- Early/immediate joiners are preferred.
- Responsibilities
- Work with customers and partners for product deployment, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and issue closure.
- Analyze customer issues using logs, system behavior, and basic infrastructure knowledge.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, sales, and support teams to resolve customer problems.
- Document issue details, next steps, and customer communication clearly.
- Learn RackWare products and explain technical concepts in a simple, customer-friendly way.
- Skills We Look For
- Linux or system administration experience.
- Experience in at least one of these areas:
- cloud, virtualization, storage, backup/DR, migration, DevOps, or enterprise infrastructure support.
- Ability to troubleshoot patiently and communicate clearly with an customers.
- Quick learner with ownership mindset and willingness to work across teams.
- Good to Have
- Experience with storage, backup, disaster recovery, replication, or migration products.
- Exposure to VMware/Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, or IBM Cloud
- Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, containers, CI/CD, Python, Bash, or similar scripting.
- Prior DevOps/SRE background is welcome if the candidate has customer-facing experience.
- Team lead, mentoring, or ownership experience.
