We are seeking a driven, relationship-oriented, and high-credibility Senior Business Development Manager to lead our high-touch financial services and client acquisition efforts.
As an authorized partner of IIFL Securities, we provide comprehensive end-to-end handholding, expert market guidance, and personalized services.
Your core role is to build deep trust with retail investors, wealth creators, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs). You will guide them through their investment journeys, offering structured service support and human-led advisory. We provide complete financial and product training ; we prioritize your elite relationship management skills and consultative sales approach over prior market background.
In addition to managing your own client portfolio, you will play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening the local market presence, and contributing to the success of the Kochi branch.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship-Driven Client Onboarding
- Acquire long-term retail investors and HNIs through consultative, face-to-face, or detailed phone consultations.
- Assess client risk profiles and financial goals, translating them into personalized investment avenues.
- Provide comprehensive handholding during the initial onboarding phase, guiding clients through physical or digital KYC, account opening, and capital allocation.
2. Client Success Management
- Deliver high-touch service support, acting as the dedicated human touchpoint for clients who prefer personalized guidance.
- Deliver market insights and stock/mutual to clients, collaborating closely with IIFL's central research desk.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews with clients to ensure their investments remain aligned with their financial goals, fostering long-term retention.
3. Strategic Network Building
- Organize localized financial awareness workshops, private investor meets, and interactive group discussions to educate potential clients.
- Drive client-get-client referral loops by delivering an exceptional level of personal service that clients naturally recommend to family and friends.
- Build strategic referral networks through existing clients, professional associations, local business communities, and digital platforms.
4. Training & Regulatory Compliance
- Master the financial product suite (Equities, Mutual Funds, PMS, Fixed Income, Insurance) via our intensive, company-sponsored training program.
- Uphold regulatory compliance standards, ensuring all client communications, documentation, and advisory guidelines adhere strictly to SEBI and IIFL norms.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience
- 5–8+ years of premium, relationship-driven sales or wealth management experience.
- Candidates from wealth management, banking, high end insurance, real estate, luxury retail, or other high-value relationship sales environments are encouraged to apply.
Finance Knowledge
- Prior experience is a plus, but a high level of coachability and a genuine interest in mastering personal finance is required.
Education
- Graduate in any stream.
- Excellent communication skills in Malayalam, along with a good command of spoken and written English, are essential for this role.
Certification
- Any NISM certification (preferred).
