Job Overview:
SkyOcean Shipping is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Manager to manage the company's financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and UAE tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, UAE VAT compliance, and team management. Experience in the shipping or logistics industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
- Manage UAE VAT compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and adherence to FTA regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants for statutory and financial requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Supervise and mentor the accounts team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Support management with financial analysis and recommendations for business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience with UAE VAT experience.
- Experience in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
