Designation – Safety & Quality Officer.
Role Summary
Quality Officer is the overall quality in-charge of the warehouse. He has the overall responsibility of the Good warehousing practices, hygiene pest control, Legal & product compliance, safety compliance and KPI deliverables. Quality officer is a team member of Special Situation Management Team.
Accountability
- Deliver the Quality agenda across warehouse, transit to market receipt from factory till delivery up to Redistributors, through the implementation, maintenance and administration of Quality and Safety requirements of Colgate in line with company policy and statutory compliance.
- Develop and implement appropriate plans, programs and activities to achieve objectives set by company.
- Ensure all necessary quality requirements are comply for product quality in transport and storage and distribution ensuring non-conformance data is recorded, and corrective action is taken and that relevant issues are escalated to the Colgate quality and branch team
- Implement and maintain Good Warehousing Practices, Housekeeping & Stock Hygiene & Pest control program as per requirements
- Conducting Traceability and Mock recall as per plan, Ensure the FEFO adherence
- Ensure legal compliance, warehouse compliance
- Development of the SOP’s and formats as per the requirements
- Implementation of operational procedures, new ideas, KIZEN activities etc.
- Internal Audit (Designing, Planning & Reports review)
- Identify training needs, preparing annual training plan and deliver training accordingly in order to build the employees competent to perform their duties.
- Conducting onboard training, refresher training to the employees and labour.
- Ensure and Hold and Release of the product as per the process defined
- Ensure the segregations of expired, near expired, damage stock from goods stocks
- Highlights the issue related to products quality, packaging quality & compliances to quality team
- Drive HSE agenda- Regularly conducting training on safe work place practices, monthly safety meeting, conducting mock drill, reporting & investigation of incident/injury/ near miss reporting.
Coordination and Monitoring
- Monitor warehouse temperature compliances
- Co-ordinate with Depot Managers for quality and safety and training requirements
- Co-ordinate with Colgate Branch and Quality Team for Quality Requirements
Reporting
- Safety compliance

Competence Requirement
- Education- Graduate in Science discipline
- Work Experience- Minimum 4 Years in relevant field
Knowledge and Skill requirement

- Knowledge of Statutory and Regulatory requirements
- Interpersonal skill
- Able to train the people
- Knowledge of various quality standards.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
