Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand market presence in the precision engineering and industrial automation domain. The role involves solution-based selling of capital equipment, SPMs, and test & measurement solutions while managing key customer relationships across assigned territories.

Role Overview:
- Drive sales growth and expand market presence within assigned territory
- Manage customer relationships through solution-based selling
- Handle capital equipment, SPMs, and automation solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in assigned region
- Develop new OEM accounts and project opportunities
- Manage key accounts to ensure repeat business and long-term relationships
- Conduct techno-commercial discussions and prepare proposals
- Coordinate with internal teams for customized solutions
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities
Qualifications:
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B industrial or technical sales
Preferred Background:
- Primary preference: Metallurgy industry
- Secondary preference: Capital equipment or industrial machinery sales
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of capital equipment, SPM, and machine manufacturing
- In-depth understanding of test & measurement and calibration instrumentation
- Technical expertise in sensors, torque/force systems, and data acquisition
- Experience working with OEMs, automotive companies, and calibration labs
- Knowledge of ISO, NABL standards, and calibration practices
- Ability to translate technical features into business and ROI value
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Proficiency in English and regional languages
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
