About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend systems for enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Node.js, microservices architecture, API development, and cloud-native backend solutions. Experience in the Trading, Capital Markets, or FinTech domain will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability and resilience.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend processes for high-volume transactions.
- Develop secure authentication, authorization, and API security mechanisms.
- Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and availability.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and performance tuning for backend services.
Mandatory Skills
- 8–10 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with Express.js or NestJS.
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and message queues.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Trading Platforms, Capital Markets, Stock Brokerage, Investment Banking, or FinTech products.
- Experience handling high-throughput, low-latency transaction systems.
- Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time data streaming.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
