Roles and Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Curriculum Development

Deliver engaging lectures in subjects such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Production & Operations, Business Mathematics, Quantitative Techniques, Operations Research, and Decision Science.

Develop and update course curriculum aligned with academic standards and industry requirements.

Apply case studies, mathematical modeling, simulations, and real-world business applications in teaching.

Conduct practical sessions, workshops, and experiential learning activities.
2. Research and Publications

Conduct research in Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Logistics, Optimization Models, or Applied Mathematics.

Publish research papers in reputed national and international journals.

Present research findings at conferences, seminars, and faculty development programs.
3. Student Mentorship and Academic Guidance
-
Guide students in academic projects, research work, and quantitative analysis assignments.

Mentor students in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Support dissertations, internships, and live industry projects.
4. Industry Collaboration

Build collaborations with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain organizations.

Organize guest lectures, workshops, and industry interaction programs.

Facilitate live projects and practical exposure opportunities for students.
5. Institutional and Administrative Responsibilities

Participate in curriculum planning, accreditation activities (NAAC/NBA), and departmental initiatives.

Contribute to academic administration, examinations, and institutional development programs.

Support institutional events, seminars, and academic activities.
Qualifications
-
Ph.D. in Operations Management / Supply Chain Management / Mathematics / Management or related discipline (as per UGC/AICTE norms).

MBA/PGDM in Operations / Supply Chain or Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics/related field.
Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of Operations Management, Supply Chain concepts, and Business Mathematics.

Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or optimization software.

Excellent analytical, communication, and teaching skills.
