A Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion while ensuring they meet technical, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage mechanical engineering projects.
- Design and review mechanical systems and equipment.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering codes.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise installation and commissioning.
- Resolve technical issues during project execution.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
- Project management skills (planning, scheduling, budgeting).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with standards such as ASME, ISO, API, or ASTM (depending on the industry).
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
