Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing comprehensive cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed cloud architectures. Collaboration with various teams to align technical implementations with organizational goals is also a key part of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of cloud migration strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align cloud platform initiatives with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Migration Planning.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Move Architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components and deployment methodologies.
- Experience in designing scalable and secure cloud environments.
- Ability to develop and validate proof of concept architectures for cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and security best practices in cloud platforms.
Additional Information:
